ACT Score ReviewYour ACT scores make take
some time to process following the ACT test.
You are scored separately on each section of the ACT.
Your scores from all sections are averaged to give you a composite score.
The English score can be broken down into a usage/mechanics score and a
rhetorical skills score. The
Mathematics score can be broken down into pre-algebra, intermediate
algebra/geometry, and plane geometry/trigonometry.
The Reading score can be broken down into Arts/Literature and Social
Studies/Sciences. The Science test score is not broken down into specific
sub-categories. You can use your
sub-scores within each section to help you understand your ACT scores and
improve in the future. If you don’t score well
on the ACT ask yourself the following questions.
